Wismut Labs at Big Data World 2017
Our CEO, Markus Kirchberg, will be presenting at this year’s Big Data World from 11–12 October at Marina Bay Sands, on the topic Maximising the Value of Innovation: Promise versus Reality.
We believe that innovation is a collaborative process whereby organisations transform ideas into new/improved products, service or processes to advance, compete and differentiate themselves successfully in their market. The most important thing for organisations is to maximise the value of their innovation processes.
In this talk, we will showcase how organisations from various domains can/have develop/ed their own competitive edge through the adoption of modern or emerging technologies (such as predictive analytics, advanced machine learning, network sciences, sensor integration, and blockchain).
The session starts at 3.05pm on 11 Oct at the Big Data Open Air Theatre.
Markus will also be part of a panel discussion on How Blockchain Can Change the Future of IoT together with Markku Lepisto, Solutions Architect (JAPAC) at Google, Conor Colwell, Co-founder of Chain of Things, Pavel Bains, CEO at Bluzelle Networks and Paul de Long, Managing Director at Otonomos.
The panel will be moderated by Jane Lo, and will take place from 2.05pm till 2.45pm on 11 Oct at the Internet of Things Theatre.
